Both. Upload a compiled .ex4 or .ex5. MT4 and MT5 bots share the same slots, and both demo and live accounts work.
Export a .set file from MetaTrader (the EA's inputs dialog, then Save) and upload that instead. Uploading the same EA again is instant, because its inputs are already known.
No. Pausing stops the bot, so it won't open or manage trades, but nothing is closed: open positions stay at your broker with any stop-loss and take-profit already set. A settings change is saved as a new version and the bot restarts with it. If the new inputs fail to load, the last good version comes back automatically.
They're stored encrypted and only decrypted inside your bot's instance. Save an account once as a broker profile and reuse it for your other bots.
Yes, if you allow it. DLL imports are off by default, because a DLL runs native code outside MetaTrader's sandbox. Turn them on per bot, and only when your EA's vendor says it needs them.
Your bots keep trading through a 3-day grace period while the payment retries. If it still fails, the bots are stopped, not deleted, until billing is fixed. Cancel any time: your bots, settings and history are kept for when you come back.
